Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL)
Nearly one in four athletes returning to sports after primary ACL reconstruction (ACLR) sustains a second ACL injury. Due to persistent muscle weakness and asymmetrical movement and loading patterns, many sustain a second ACL injury following return to unrestricted physical activity. Even after clearance to return to sport (RTS), many athletes continue to exhibit limb asymmetries.
