Renoa Choudhury, PhD

Post-doctoral Fellow

Renoa is a postdoctoral associate in the Kevin P. Granata Biomechanics Lab. She earned her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida. Her Ph.D. work focused on healthy aging and fall prevention in older adults using an interdisciplinary approach that combined biomechanics, behavioral science, and biomechatronics. In her post-doctoral training, she is studying functional load symmetry in patients post-ACL Reconstruction and healthy controls to determine therapeutic targets for ACL rehabilitation. Renoa is passionate about diversifying the STEM workforce and supporting initiatives that foster diversity, inclusion, and cultural competencies in STEM. She enjoys travelling, hiking, Indian classical dancing, and reading fiction.
