Robyn Hansen, MS

PhD Candidate

Robyn is a three-time Hokie, completing her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering and currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Biomedical engineering. She is originally from Long Island, New York, but her family recently moved on to a farm in Madison, Virginia. She is passionate about rehabilitation and sports biomechanics. Her M.S. thesis focused on analyzing upper extremity movement in a pediatric population, while her Ph.D. dissertation aims to investigate ACL injury risk in volleyball players during competition-based, game-like scenarios. Robyn enjoys playing sports, especially volleyball and soccer, hanging out with her friends, and volunteering at the local animal shelter.
